My girlfriend has tried most things to lose weight but nothing has worked just as well as the wu yi tea that she drinks, it’s been covered on CNN and Fox News. She shed 6 pounds in three weeks. She gets it off a contact at work but I discovered this site in Google; - they have a free trial on at the moment, maybe they’re worth a try?

Eat small, but regular meals and exercise plenty.
(Small but regular meaning 5 small meals a day)

Eating smaller, and more frequent meals. Eat 6 snackish sized meals a day and that will boost it. Also they say having a hot lemon drink in the mornings before breakfast will kick start your metabolism and liver. Speaking of breakfast, that also gets it going in the morning, so never skip it!

I have lost 30lbs in just over 3 months purely from watching what I eat (no exercise). I know thats not ideal… but my current work situation doesn’t allow me time for the gym.
So I joined as its a free site that has some great forums and really explains weight loss.
Its basic math - if you eat less than what you body burns in a day - you lose weight. On this site you can track what you eat… and really learn more about a balanced diet.
There are no simple solutions. Sure fad diets work in the short term but they are hard to maintain and you end up putting the weight back on when you stop.
Eat right. Eat fruit… veggies…. eat clean! The less processed food the better.
Good Luck!

Other than exercising (aerobic and anaerboic), you can eat smaller frequent meals instead of starving and then eating alot. Also drinking plenty of water should help too. There really isn’t any other healthy alternatives besides those.

Certain foods and drinks will increase your metabolism. For example, caffeine, chili peppers, or cayenne pepper will help. But it’s not going to help you shed pounds, if that’s what you’re looking for.

green tea,
lots of water,
exercise
eating breakfast
eating regular small meals
for example instead of having three huge meals
such as eggs, chips, beans , sausage ….
have two poached eggs on toast and some tomotoes
have six small meals a day( roughly 300 each)
dont limit your calorie below 1600 cals as starving yourself lowers the metabolism
hope this helps

smaller means small portion size
Tips to increase your metabolism
———– Water - Water helps to lose weight. Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize stored fat.
———– Eat breakfast everyday : Do not skip breakfast. Breakfast is break the fast that we have done overnight. Skipping breakfast makes your metabolism slower and makes you hungry which you tend to compensate by eating a lot later.
———– Eat smaller, more frequent meals (eat 4-6 six small meals) - More frequent meals keep your metabolism charged .
———– Exerecise to fire up your metabolism and burn more calories - Try 30-60 minutes of physical activity a day. It increases your metabolism .
———– Take the stairs and park your car further away from the shops - You will end up burning more calories.
———– Interval training - great way to boost metabolism
———– Eating foods that speed up metabolism —>(Spices,High protein foods,High fiber foods)
——— Spices-Spices boosts metabolism, suppresses appetite, reduce fat absorption and adds taste to your meal. Replace butter or mayonnaise with garlic, chili, mustard, ginger. Saute vegetables and chicken in hot sauce as opposed to oil.
———- High protein foods- Protein increases metabolism. It helps in building muscle tissue. More muscles burn more fat and increases your metabolism. Calories from the protein rich foods are much harder for the body to breakdown and process.Protein is a good appetite suppressant.
———- High fiber foods-Fiber is digested slower, keeps us feeling fuller longer and releases its energy slower which keep our blood sugar levels even and helps us avoid cravings.

Do not use diet pills in an effort to boost metabolism!
You are not only wasting your time, but because so many of these pills have been recalled by the FDA, you might be endangering your life.
Diet pills have been used for the past 60 years as a way to lose weight. They normally consist of appetite suppressants. There was a very popular diet pill a few years back that was soon recalled because it was linked to cancer. Everyone knows about fen-phen. Class action lawsuits have kept a lot of diet pills away from the public, but people still keep making them because there is always a demand for a magic pill that will enable you to lose weight. There is no such pill. In order to lose weight you have to increase your metabolism and consume the right amount of calories and foods.
When coupled with exercise, a healthy and sensible diet is all you need to get you to lose weight. Start off small by eliminating some things from your diet that you have now. If you take sugar in your tea or coffee, stop doing that. Either drink tea or coffee black or skip it all together. Drink green tea instead. It has caffeine but also is loaded with antioxidants. And it is not as bitter as coffee and black tea.
Skip soda and sugared fruit juices. Do not eat cookies, candy or cakes. If you think that you can boost metabolism by eating a candy bar, think again. When you feel like you are dragging and want to boost metabolism, eat protein. Protein is what you need to get you through the times when you feel that you have no energy. Having a candy bar will give you a false sugar rush.
Taking pills in an effort to lose weight is a dangerous habit that can end up deadly. Each year, people taking diet pills end up having health problems relating to the diet pills, some even ending in death. Quit looking for the magic pill and start looking for ways to naturally boost metabolism.
Another thing that you have to do is eat. Starving yourself is pointless. So is dieting without exercise. Eat three meals a day, but make sure that they are sensible meals. When you eliminate simple carbohydrates such as the high sugar foods and foods loaded with saturated fats, like fast foods, you will start to notice a difference in your weight. Eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables and proteins to get you through the day. Start your day off with protein and you will find that you boost metabolism right away and will burn off calories much quicker than if you eat nothing at all.
