Are squats a good way to increase metabolism?
DeFreeze asked:
I realize its an anaerobic resistance, but someone once told me that squats will kick start your metabolism, maybe more so than other resistance exercises. I was also told that commensurate increase in metabolism would lead to a equal increase in appetite, so that, for the exercise to be effective, I really had to watch my diet.

he may have said that since squats work over 250 muscles, which creates way more muscle spread out… and muscles require way more calories than fat.

the best and quickest way to increase your metabolism it by eating, but you need to do it right, eating smaller meals and eating more during the day, 5-6 times instead of 2-3 is the best, remember to eat healthy foods, use fresh ingredients, stay away from fried fatty foods, avoid caffeine alcohol salt and sugar as much as possible
hope this helps
